‍Yes, my name is Claudia Moncarz, and I'm a tax attorney. I help business owners get out of trouble with the IRS.

When did you start to make YouTube videos?

‍I think we've been using our YouTube channel for a few years, and the whole purpose is just to educate people, because I know tax law and IRS are scary for people.

How long have you been making short videos?

‍We actually started with shorts videos this year. We started a podcast, and we wanted to just take snippets of the podcast and put them on Instagram and YouTube.

Gotcha. Why do you repurpose your podcasts to short videos?

‍Our podcast is long form content on YouTube that is usually 5-20 minutes. I think short videos can send the viewers to long videos and get them interested. That's why we started with short videos.

‍Have you been doing shorts before finding OpusClip?

‍Yes, we tried to do that, but it takes a lot of my time. So what we would do is write the script and create short videos with stock footage and b-roll. But it didn't look too good.

Then we tried to hire vendors on Fiverr or other platforms, but the process was super long, I had to try like five different vendors to get one good clip. Besides, it was not a quick turnaround. I have to first find the right moments in the videos for them, and then wait for them to cut the videos. And then I found OpusClip, and I was fascinated, because I can just upload the video and it gives me different options, and the clips that I post always get like 300 views. It's not a crazy number, but for legal channels, it's a lot.

For vendor, it usually take about 2 to 3 days, and a lot of times I have to tell them which moments I want to clip, which parts I think should be re-edited.
